Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough cleanings and periodontal care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Accurately document patient histories and treatment plans

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a gentle, caring approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures
• Proficient in dental radiography and safety protocols
• Familiar with dental software and patient management systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Dedication to infection control and sterilization standards
