Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for young patients
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following safety protocols
• Take and develop dental X-rays with care and precision
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment flow
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to create a welcoming, kid-friendly environment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Radiology/X-ray certification preferred
• Experience working with children in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Strong chair-side assistance skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
