Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings to promote optimal oral health
• Assess patients' oral health conditions and document findings accurately
• Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure a smooth patient experience
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments in compliance with infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Dental Hygienist license
• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Commitment to maintaining strict infection control protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and radiography
• Understanding of dental anatomy, periodontology, and oral pathology
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Knowledge of HIPAA and infection control regulations
• Strong organizational and patient education skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with dentists and dental assistants
