Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized operatory
- Take and develop dental X-rays, and perform patient record documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage patient flow and support front desk tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Maryland (or eligible)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience as a dental assistant is required; orthodontic experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and infection control
- Familiarity with dental software and digital X-ray systems
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Compassionate chairside manner and patient-centered approach
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
