Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and cleanings for patients in half-hour appointment slots
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Work closely with a dental assistant to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient appointments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile clinical environment
• Support the dental team and deliver compassionate, quality care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene best practices and infection control
• Skill in using dental instruments and equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients
• Ability to collaborate effectively with dental assistants and other staff
• Time management skills to maintain half-hour appointment schedule
