Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for each patient
• Take and document patient dental histories and X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience in orthodontic or dental assisting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Proficient in taking digital X-rays and using dental software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
