Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during procedures, including chairside assistance and instrument passing
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Radiology certification for Maryland
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Proficient in dental software and digital charting
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
