Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontist during procedures, ensuring smooth patient care
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental x-rays and impressions
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Support a positive and efficient office workflow
Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA) in Maryland
- Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification
- Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on patient comfort
Education
- Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
- Proficiency with dental software and digital x-rays
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Commitment to infection control and safety standards
