Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with a variety of conditions to determine their functional and daily living needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans to help patients regain independence
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
• Accurately document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to ensure quality care
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to provide holistic support

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active Wyoming Occupational Therapy license, or ability to obtain one before start date
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills

Education

• Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) from an accredited program
• Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Skill in developing comprehensive treatment and discharge plans
• Excellent documentation and charting abilities
• Ability to supervise and direct occupational therapy assistants
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in healthcare
