Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to critically ill neonates in the NICU
• Manage and monitor ventilators and respiratory support equipment
• Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and the care team to optimize treatment plans
• Administer respiratory medications, oxygen therapy, and airway clearance techniques
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapy, adjusting care as needed
• Educate and support families throughout their NICU journey

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio (RRT or CRT)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NICU respiratory care experience preferred
• Ability to work Monday-Thursday night shifts
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Neonatal respiratory assessment and treatment
• Ventilator management and weaning
• Oxygen delivery systems and airway management
• Accurate documentation and patient monitoring
• Strong team collaboration and communication
• Adaptability to float between units and care sites as needed
