Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams using advanced imaging equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
• Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging parameters for diagnostic accuracy
• Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure proper documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize image quality and patient care

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Experience as an MRI technologist preferred
• Ability to work weekend and Monday evening shifts
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contraindications
• Familiarity with MRI equipment and imaging software
• Ability to position patients and select imaging sequences
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
