Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate advanced MRI equipment (Philips 3T and Siemens 1.5T) to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
• Screen patients for contraindications and ensure a safe MRI environment by following safety protocols
• Review and optimize images for diagnostic clarity while collaborating with radiologists
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all imaging is properly documented
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active ARMRIT certification required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience operating both 3T and 1.5T MRI equipment, including Philips and Siemens systems
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contraindications
• Proficiency in operating Philips Evolution 3T and Siemens Sola 1.5T scanners
• Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques
• Skilled in patient positioning and immobilization for optimal imaging
• Experience with IV placement for contrast studies is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
