Shift Type: Thursday-Saturday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Day shift
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents while respecting their dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring vital signs and reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that promotes healing and well-being
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or a compact state
- Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Willingness to comply with facility vaccination requirements, including COVID-19 vaccine or documented exemption
- At least 1 year of recent LPN clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and dosage calculation
- Wound care, specimen collection, and monitoring of patient status
- Electronic health records (EHR) and accurate charting
- Critical thinking and calm response to changing patient conditions
- Clear communication and teamwork with diverse care teams
- Empathy, patience, and a positive, patient-centered attitude
