Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the L&D nursing team to provide exceptional maternal and neonatal care
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient flow in L&D, OBED, and antepartum units
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to develop evidence-based protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety regulations, and hospital policies
• Facilitate staff education, competency validation, and professional development
• Provide direct patient care support as needed and cover weekend and holiday shifts to maintain continuity

Qualifications

• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Active RN license (license verification required)
• Clinical experience in L&D, OBED, and antepartum care
• Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Specialty Competency Testing

• Expertise in labor and delivery, OBED, and antepartum nursing
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of patient safety and regulatory standards
• Ability to handle high-acuity situations calmly and effectively
