Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to support patients' oral health
• Assess patient oral health conditions and document findings accurately
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience as a dental hygienist is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach

Education

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in patient education and communication
• Familiarity with dental software and digital x-ray systems
• Attention to detail and infection control protocols
