Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis to maintain patient oral health
• Assess patient oral conditions and document findings accurately
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants as needed
• Provide patient education on hygiene practices and preventive care
• Take dental x-rays and ensure proper image quality
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team
• Compassionate and detail-oriented approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene theory and practice
• Proficiency in radiography and digital imaging
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Experience with dental practice management software
