Shift Type: Days: Not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff
Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding when needed
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control practices
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team and families

Qualifications

GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (e.g., TB)
Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Completed GNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles and resident dignity
Skill assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Familiarity with documentation practices and basic charting
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nursing staff
Good observational skills to notice and escalate changes in resident status
