Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleanings, scaling, and polishing
• Assess patients' oral health and educate on proper dental care
• Take digital x-rays and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with dentists during exams and treatments
• Ensure strict infection control and safety protocols
• Create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active New York State Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Commitment to patient safety and infection control
• Time management skills to keep the schedule running smoothly
