Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including scaling, root planing, and prophylaxis
• Conduct patient assessments and document medical and dental histories
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans
• Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment following infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience preferred but not required - new graduates welcome to apply
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of oral health and hygiene practices
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity for clinical procedures
