Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans with attention to patient safety and image accuracy
• Work closely with radiologists and nursing teams to ensure precise diagnostic results
• Position patients comfortably and clearly explain procedures to ease any anxiety
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise
• Document patient histories, protocols, and scan details accurately
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control practices at all times

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required
• Valid CT Tech license or certification (verification required)
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Ability to work night shifts, Friday through Sunday
• Must meet health requirements including 2-Step PPD or IGRA, vaccines, fit test, and 10-panel drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Experience positioning patients and operating diagnostic imaging equipment
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control principles
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Attention to detail and ability to stay calm in fast-paced environments
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and assist patients safely
