Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, schedule set by management, every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care to ICU patients, including ADLs, vital signs, and blood glucose monitoring
- Assist with EKGs, straight catheter insertions, and IV removals as needed
- Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms, and prepare rooms for admissions and discharges
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Float within critical care units to support the team as needed
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Washington or a compact state
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- COVID vaccine required
- Minimum of 2 years of CNA experience, with previous ICU or PCU experience highly preferred
- Ability to float to other critical care units
- EPIC charting experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in taking vital signs, blood glucose checks, and EKGs
- Excellent communication and empathy for patients and families
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
