Shift Type: Thursday-Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Document patient observations and report any changes to the nursing team
  • Support residents with meals, feeding, and hydration while respecting their preferences
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

  • Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico or compact state
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

  • Skilled in taking and recording vital signs accurately
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques and infection control practices
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients safely
  • Excellent listening and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
