Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday (typical day shift hours)

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADL performance, functional mobility, and independence
  • Accurately document treatments using Net Health electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient progress and discharge planning
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on adaptive equipment and home safety strategies
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, and facility documentation standards

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current California COTA license (or eligibility)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred, but motivated new graduates welcome
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude with a passion for patient-centered care

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Occupational Therapy and ADL Training
  • Functional Mobility and Patient Education
  • Documentation and Collaboration
  • Proficiency in Net Health EMR
  • CPR/BLS certified
  • Skilled Nursing Facility experience a plus
