Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients on a Med/Surg and Telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to plan patient care
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and recovery plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current NIHSS certification
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred
• Telemetry monitoring experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
