Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
• Perform triage, assessments, and interventions in a fast-paced environment
• Administer medications, start IVs, and monitor vital signs
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Document patient information accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience preferred
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency nursing procedures and protocols
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization skills
