Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients with neurological conditions
• Monitor and assess neurological status, including vital signs and level of consciousness
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease process and discharge planning
• Document patient care accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of neuro nursing experience preferred
• Willingness to float to different units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in electronic medical records
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment
