Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients in a fast-paced ED environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments with precision and care
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and ability to thrive under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS protocols
• Skilled in emergency triage and patient assessment
• Knowledge of emergency medications and interventions
• Comfortable working with electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
