Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical team during operations
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia recovery
• Maintain sterile field and surgical supplies
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care
• Document patient care accurately in medical records

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Operating Room nursing skills
• Sterile technique and infection control
• Perioperative patient care across the surgical continuum
• Critical thinking and rapid decision-making
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
