Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and dispense prescription medications for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Assist with daily pharmacy workflows to keep operations running smoothly
• Manage pharmaceutical and drug supply inventory with meticulous attention
• Maintain strict inventory logs to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with the team to streamline the supply chain across multiple institutions

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or state license required
• Experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably with central fill or high-volume dispensing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow strict protocols for medication handling and inventory control
• Comfortable working in a correctional facility environment (CDCR) - empathy and professionalism are key

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of pharmacy workflows and medication dispensing processes
• Proficiency in inventory management and maintaining accurate logs
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical names, dosages, and packaging standards
• Strong computer skills for order entry and recordkeeping
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
