Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medications and ensure accurate, safe dispensing
• Deliver medication education to patients and their families
• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care that supports safe, effective, and timely patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and hospital policies
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize medication therapy

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program required
• Current Kansas Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure highly preferred
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Passion for patient care and collaborative teamwork

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program

• Medication dispensing and pharmaceutical care
• Medication education and patient counseling
• Compliance with regulatory standards
• Hospital pharmacy operations
• Strong communication and attention to detail
