Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care on a 30-bed med/surg unit
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using sound clinical judgment
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support surgical and medical patients
Monitor patients using remote telemetry and document care in Meditech
Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and discharge plans
Maintain excellent customer service and a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Current RN license in Colorado (or compact RN eligible)
Med/surgical experience required; candidates without this will not be considered
BLS required; NRP preferred for those with mom/baby experience
Comfortable working independently or with minimal RN coverage
Strong communication, critical thinking, and customer service skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Meditech EMR and remote telemetry systems
Experience with post-op care for procedures like cholecystectomy and appendectomy
Ability to manage variable patient ratios (1:1 to 3:1 estimated)
Solid assessment and documentation skills
Team-oriented approach and adaptability in a dynamic hospital setting
