Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients, responding quickly to changes
• Assess patients' conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed records
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and cardiac health
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and technicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (KS or compact state)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• DCI/BVP certification or ability to obtain
• Experience in telemetry or acute care nursing
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies confidently

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring equipment
• Excellent critical thinking and assessment abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
