Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations to identify speech, language, and swallowing needs
• Design and update personalized treatment and discharge plans that empower patients
• Document all services accurately and thoroughly, ensuring full compliance
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to achieve the best outcomes
• Champion infection control and safety protocols to provide a secure environment

Qualifications

• A Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active Maryland SLP license (or CFY eligibility) and CCC-SLP certification
• A passion for helping patients communicate and swallow with confidence
• Ability to work closely with patients, families, and a dynamic care team

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in speech, language, and swallowing therapy
• Experienced in patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Knowledge of swallowing therapy and dysphagia management
• Strong documentation and compliance abilities
• Effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Proficient in infection control and safety practices
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving
