Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, brief therapy, and continuing care for patients
Facilitate patient care conferences and lead discharge planning
Provide clinical support around chemical dependency and mental health needs
Work closely with hospital teams and local community partners to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related discipline
Licensed as or in the process of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
Valid State of Alaska Driver's License
Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years

Education

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related discipline from an accredited educational institution
