Roles & Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to patients in the outpatient cardiology clinic
Assist providers and staff in coordinating patient care
Function as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and providers
Receive direction from providers, coordinators, and clinical managers/supervisors

Qualifications

Graduate of a nursing program
At least 2 years of cardiac nursing experience preferred
MT RN Licensure
Basic Life Support
ACLS

Education

Graduate of a nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of EKG, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac medications, and procedures
Basic coronary class
Medical Terminology
Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures
Key Boarding Skills
Basic Office Skills
