Roles & Responsibilities

Direct and indirect supervision of approximately 45 FTEs
Carrying out Director-level responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and laws
Setting clear expectations for staff and developing training plans
Addressing customer and employee concerns in a timely and professional manner
Directing maintenance activities on utility systems
Inspecting machines and equipment to ensure operational standards
Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5+ years of personnel management experience
Thorough knowledge of electrical, electronics, plumbing, carpentry, boiler operation, HVAC, and general building maintenance principles

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Knowledge & Skills

Leadership and management skills
Communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of engineering principles and equipment maintenance
Understanding of life safety codes, construction phasing, and environmental services operations
