Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient physical therapy care
Develop and implement patient plans of care using evidenced-based medicine
Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and administrative personnel
Modify patient care plans as needed
Support the mission of the Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Alaska
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
3 years of experience in physical therapy
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical literature

Education

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy techniques and best practices
Patient care and communication skills
Medical terminology and literature
Basic computer skills and MS Office
Problem-solving and critical thinking
