Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to detect changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning
• Document patient information accurately while maintaining compliance
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA
• Previous medical-surgical or telemetry experience is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and dedicated to quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient assessment and care planning
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Adaptability to varied patient needs and acuity levels
