Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, patient-centered nursing care to Med/Surg patients, including post-operative surgical patients and those requiring cardiac drips.
• Monitor patient status using remote telemetry and intervene quickly when conditions change.
• Administer medications, including cardiac infusions like amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin, with precision and safety.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, ACTs, and the broader care team to maintain smooth unit operations and positive outcomes.
• Document accurately in Meditech EMR and keep patients and families informed throughout the care journey.
• Bring high energy and a can-do attitude to a busy unit that truly values teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Colorado or compact state) - we'll help with travel credentialing
• BLS certification (required) and ACLS (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg RN experience
• Prior Meditech EMR experience is a big plus
• Comfort with 5:1 patient ratios and a fast-paced environment
• A genuine love for patient care and teamwork

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Med/Surg and acute care nursing skills
• Experience monitoring telemetry and managing cardiac drips
• Solid understanding of post-op surgical care
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR (preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
