Shift Type: Per Diem, 12.5-hour shifts, flexible scheduling
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on a Med/Surg unit
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care interventions for children with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor vital signs and patient status, documenting changes and responding quickly
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
- Previous pediatric or med/surg experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric growth and development
- Skill in administering pediatric medications and calculating dosages
- Ability to assess and respond to changing patient conditions
- Strong documentation and EHR skills
- Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
