Bill Rate: $30.11+ per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality CT images of designated anatomical areas for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Operate CT equipment effectively in a variety of settings, including the Radiology and Emergency Departments.
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Apply appropriate imaging protocols to obtain optimal images of specified anatomy.
  • Demonstrate effective radiation safety practices at all times, assisting radiologists as needed.
  • Utilize computer systems and imaging software daily to document and manage patient information.
  • Deliver superior customer service, creating a positive experience for every patient and team member.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology (required).
  • Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist (required).
  • ARRT certification (required).
  • CT certification or certification eligibility (required).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association, or completion within first 90 days of employment (highly preferred).
  • At least one year of hospital radiology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Kansas state licensure, or the ability to obtain it, is required.

Education

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of radiologic technology and CT imaging protocols.
  • Skilled in operating CT equipment and producing diagnostic-quality images.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety practices and protocols.
  • Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
  • Proficient with computer systems, imaging software, and electronic documentation.
  • Understanding of human anatomy and the ability to adapt imaging techniques to various patient populations.
