Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with chairside procedures and patient care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatory rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on braces care and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Support a smooth and welcoming patient experience from arrival to departure

Qualifications

• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA or equivalent) preferred
• X-ray certification or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Familiarity with dental software and patient records
• Skilled in infection control and sterilization protocols
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate patient interaction and chairside manner
