Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical and functional abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and balance
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab specialists to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain one
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation techniques
• Ability to perform patient assessments and develop evidence-based care plans
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
