Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate care to critically ill medical ICU patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized patient plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
• Respond quickly to emergencies and code blue situations

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in a critical care or step-down unit preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
• Must pass background checks and health screenings

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of critical care principles and protocols
• Proficiency with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and IV pumps
• Strong assessment and rapid decision-making skills
• Knowledge of BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS guidelines
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
• Excellent documentation and clinical charting skills
