Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough dental cleanings and preventive care during efficient half-hour appointments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and at-home care
• Partner with a dedicated dental assistant to keep patient flow smooth and stress-free
• Document patient care and treatment notes with accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Focus on patient comfort and satisfaction throughout every visit

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical and patient communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced dental setting
• Ability to work autonomously with assistant support, no X-ray or exam duties required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Skill in patient education and oral health promotion
• Proficiency with dental charting software
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
