Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures independently, using your expertise to capture exceptional images for diagnosis.
• Apply comprehensive MRI safety principles to protect patients, staff, and yourself in every scan.
• Use independent judgment and initiative to adapt protocols based on patient conditions and clinical needs.
• Collaborate with the Director of Radiology and Medical Director to ensure seamless diagnostic services.
• Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, from inpatient and outpatient to emergency cases.
• Maintain quality control and contribute to ongoing quality assurance in the Radiology Department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Hands-on MRI experience in a hospital setting.
• Active ARRT Registry certification.
• Active MRI Registry certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Venipuncture certification, or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• At least two recent supervisory references.

Education

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong command of MRI physics and imaging techniques.
• Deep understanding of MRI safety protocols and screening procedures.
• Proficiency in radiologic technology best practices.
• Skilled in venipuncture for contrast administration.
• Ability to think critically and act independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent patient communication and customer service.
• Knowledge of hospital radiology operations, including quality control.
