Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings and prophylaxis treatments
• Assess patients' oral health and document findings with precision
• Educate patients on effective brushing, flossing, and nutritional habits
• Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in a dental office setting is a plus
• A gentle touch and excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills in dental hygiene procedures
• Proficiency with dental X-ray equipment and software
• Ability to educate and motivate patients in oral care
• Attention to detail and strict adherence to infection control protocols
