Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Take impressions, X-rays, and photographs of patients' teeth for diagnosis and treatment planning
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, empowering them to maintain healthy smiles
• Manage patient records using Denticon software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families, creating a positive dental experience

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience
• Current CPR certification
• Prior experience in orthodontics preferred
• Proficiency with Denticon or similar dental practice management software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced patient-focused environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Skilled in taking dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Proficient in Denticon software for scheduling, charting, and billing
• Excellent patient interaction and chairside manner
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols
