Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygen levels, adjusting care as needed.
• Administer medications and IV therapies while following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists to deliver coordinated care.
• Support and educate patients and their families during stressful moments.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or compact multi-state license accepted.
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• ICU or critical care experience is a plus; passionate new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and comply with Trinity's health requirements.

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of critical care concepts, including hemodynamics and ventilator management.
• Comfortable using cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and other ICU technology.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
• Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
