Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities to enhance daily living skills
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming therapy environment
Qualifications
- Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification
- Current New Mexico state license or compact privilege
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Recent clinical experience in a similar setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and evidence-based practices
- Ability to follow and carry out treatment plans accurately
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and exercises
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
